hi, i have one short movie clips (mpeg file about 3 minutes), but it's in
black & white color , i just wonder is there any freeware which could
convert the movie clip into colorful ?

180 seconds X 25 PAL frames per second (29 ntsc) = 4500
pictures 5220 (ntsc).
and create a new mpeg with TMPGenc and the sound from the
original mpeg. If there are parts of the footage that change
seldom to no change at all you could get away with a
cooloured in mask over the top. and a bit less colouring in
to do.
you should try over at rec.video.desktop for a better
answer. they could recommend some Off topic software. like
'after effects' or other.
