Posted by TomT on July 1st, 2004

I'm looking for a new email and news client, that will replace Agent (full
licensed copy)

must support :

Multiple Mail Servers
Multiple User
Email
News
Spell checking
Address Book
Filtering (rules)
View images within client
Be simple

NOT Outlook Express / Mozila Mail etc...

Any Ideas ?

Thanks

With all the features mentioned I doubt you get that in one program. The
closest I think would be Pimmy from http://www.geminisoft.com/

Thunderbird ? Technically NOT Mozilla Mail but it *is* part of the Mozilla
project.

http://www.mozilla.org/projects/thunderbird/index.html

It has all the features you're looking for and a few that OE misses out on.

Q: What is the similarity between air traffic controllers and pilots?
A: If a pilot screws up, the pilot dies. If ATC screws up, the pilot dies.

Pimmy... www.geminisoft.com, free.

Yes

Not directly within the program but you can install more then one copies
without problem (Pimmy is only 572KB) or execute the program by selecting
the "configuration folder" in command parameters (pimmy.exe /cfg ...).
