Favorite folders shell extension for file open?

Is there a shell extension to add a "favorite" folders list to the file
open dialog for Windows xp?

Thanks, tom.

From a post at http://www.DonationCoder.com

Folder View http://www.folderview.com/folderview/ is freeware, and
enhances Explorer in several useful ways to help find often-used folders
easier. It's very configurable, and I've found it quite useful once I got
used to it.
DM2 http://dm2.sourceforge.net/ is open source, and provides a bunch of
unrelated little Explorer enhancements, one of which is a simple favorites
list for open/save dialogs. This one doesn't yet seem to work with Office
dialogs, however it appears that it is still being actively developed.

Warning, Folder View crashed/hung my Win2K system, but YMMV. Review of
shareware ones at DonationCoder, but they didn't include any more free
ones.

Thanks for letting me know about these shell extensions.

FV looks the part and seemed perfect but on reboot windows explorer
caused an av every time it was ropened on my wp pro xp2 machine. I let
the authors know.

DM2 is unpolished and tries to do too much.

Thanks, Tom.

we posted a review of such tools (dialog box extenders) recently here:

[we didn't find a great freeware solution]

This one's great, IMO: DirKey NTXP, available at
