Firefox Integration with DAP

Is there anyway of integrating Download Accelerator Plus with Firefox
as the default download manager. Because I am on dial-up, I especially
like the resume feature in DAP which is not available on the Firefox
download manager. I am not of the computer generation so please make
your reply easy to follow. Thanks.

Thanks. I got the answer from the Firefox Plugins Doc site. I had to
upgrade to a current version of DAP then copy + rename a dll from DAP
to the plugin folder of Firefox. Works great.

You may want to have a look at the extension "DownloadWith". This
extension works great with any outside download program, and gives you
the option to use either downloader.

I use it all the time.

Thanks Zo. I'll try it. My fix also allows me to use both alternatives,
however, the download web site makes the choice for me.

Zo, I setup the "download with" extension. Very easy to configure.
However, it does not recognize every url. Thanks for the suggestion, I
am using both fixes.

Strange, I haven't had any problems with it not recognizing url's. Did you
disconnect the first "fix"? Try renaming the ( napdap.dll) to (
napdap.dll-old), you can always change it back by removing the (-old) if
you don't like it. I just didn't like the way that it just jumped right
into the download without giving you a choice like Netscape 4.7x and IE
does.
