Is there a good one for Windows 2000? I have tried Easycleaner, but it
only seems to find registry references to deleted files from my temp
directory.

You can try regseeker from here:

http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm

Free for personal use.

As well you can look around for an older freeware version of
jv16 regcleaner which works just fine. I don't have a link
for that one.

At least one of these is a freeware version. They should both be freeware
versions. The one I tried was, but I can't remember which one of the two.
I didn't try the other.
