Free Utility to see where hard-drive usage is used
Posted by Allan Bruce on July 6th, 2005

I have developed a small utility which scans any drives on your Windows PC
and shows a list of the items in order of how much size they take up. You
can open/delete/recylce items directly from the utility too. Get it from:

There is a very useful program which shows disc space usage as a pie
chart, so you can see at a glance where the space hogs are.

When doing disc cleanup, Scanner and Allan's program would make a useful
toolkit.

Form the site:-

DiskReport provides different perspectives about your disk drives:
absolute and relative sizes, size distribution, distribution of
modification dates, and distribution of types.

Each perspective includes a pie chart, a bar chart, and a details table.
You can choose to either show the file size or the number of files.
Also, JDiskReport collects a list of 100 largest, oldest, and newest files.
