- Freeware .avi to .mpg converter?

Any such critter available? I've found several that are trialware but
no freeware.

Freeware .mov to .?, I'm not sure which format it is to burn to DVD.

Only 1 freeware converter of *.mov, that is Radtools:

It will convert to *.avi.
To convert to DVD i should recomment You to use TMPGenc, which will take
*.mov and convert it to mpeg2, and were you can use a wizard.
Unfortunately it is not freeware, but a very patient trialware, you can
almost use it indefinetely.

Yes, indeed! VSO's DivXToDVD is a great utility. It recently went SW,
but the last freew vers can still be had. HIGHLY recommended!!
