Lavasoft ripoff

It is ok to use the freeware version of Lavasoft Adaware but be careful
when you buy it. For the added price I bought the professional version
and ordered the cd. They sent an unformatted cd and besides charging me
extra for the cd, they did not make good on sending me a replacement,
simply told me to download it again.

Wow, this is a very expensive program to buy over the internet. $45
(Canadian) for the Plus version (including cd) and $61 (Canadian) for
the Professional version (including cd).

STAPLES Business Depot lists Webroot's Spysweeper for only $22.93
(Canadian). >

FUTURE SHOP lists PC Tool's Spyware Doctor for $29.99.

These are usually the top two rated payware programs.

Indeed FUTURE SHOP sells Ad-aware Plus on-line for less than Lavasoft.
Go figure.

I really can't understand why you would want to pay that much for Ad-aware.
