list files in a directory and save list to text file?

Does anyone know if there's a freeware that'll make a list of files in
a particular directory and save this list to a text file?

Free Commander, the file manager from
www.freecommander.com
hight the folder and just click for a file
list and it will create a List.txt file, simple
very simple.
Menu bar > Folders > Make List.. done.

You can always use the command line:
dir *.* > filelist.txt

but GUIs are nice.
