Looking for freeware to change date / time stamp on file.
Want to DL the win98 updates while they are available but with the
date / time stamp they were released so I know which ones ones came
first / to install first.
Any suggestions?? If shareware / other e-mail me.
TIA

Oh, you assumed everyone sorts threads the same way as you?

No, John. Not *that* thread. It's the one next to it. }:O)

I give up. How do you get that sort order? :-)

Did I do something wrong here by asking for something?? Judging from
some of the replies I got I would say I did.

Two things: Mentioning Shareware is naughty.
Asking for the same thing twice. Someone is always looking for the answers
to people's questions. I doubt if a request gets overlooked.
Look in google groups if you think you are missing posts.

Huh?
You only got one (albeit useless) reply, and it in no way criticised you
for anything?

I must have missed where he asked for shareware.

Oh, I see it, now...
JMO, but he *did* ask for freeware (and appropriately directed
other-than-freeware suggestions off-list). I see no harm in that.
Good advice. Be patient, OP. Someone will be along...

I'm sorry, if you feel defensive by my message. There is nothing wrong
by asking for something. Here's the place to do so.
I just wanted to point you to another, similar thread. Someone else
asked nearly the same question 47 minutes earlier and got a couple of
answers which probably might be usefull for you too.
To not only point you to another thread, but to give you one possible
answer as well, I also posted a link to a product which "might be for you".
Blame it on my lack of foreign language skills. :-)
Nice evening
