Multi-Monitor Wallpaper changer?
Posted by www.SheDumpedMe.net on January 22nd, 2005

I'm looking for a freeware program that will randonly change my windows
wallpaper everytime the computer loads, then exit out of the program. But
here is the catch... I want the program to do this for multi-monitor
configurations (i.e. I have 4 different monitors hooked up -- I want the
program to change the wallpaper randonly for each of the 4 monitors).

Any help is much appreciated.

Take a look at gPhotoShow free version. Write shows that is has this capability.

gPhotoShow is an easy to use slideshow screen saver. gPhotoShow is the freeware version of
gPhotoShow Pro. It inherits the basic key features of its commercial brother gPhotoShow Pro

gPhotoShow can display an unlimited number of images, supports multiple monitors and can
automatically change the desktop wallpaper.

Multi monitor support in Windows 98/Me, Windows 2000/XP

I've been using it for slideshows but have never used the wallpaper feature.

Nope.. that program doesn't work -- it only changes the wallpaper after the
screen saver is done running... plus, it installs SPYWARE...

Schukz.. any other suggestions for a freeware program to change windows
wallpaper everytime it loads on MULTIPLE MONITORS??

Sorry to hear that. The old version (1.4.3) that I'm now using has no spyware and does not
have the wallpaper feature. Thanks for the info on the latest version 1.6.0.

Cannot find any on the web... but there is one guy who designed an
extensive screen paper tool under the BSD license.

He seems to be enthusiastic enough to add everything in his program. If
you contact him, maybe he'll like your idea and implement it. Just an
idea.

It looks interesting, but why can I not see the requirements (OS, CPU,
ram and so on) anywhere?

I looked for it but didn't see any requirements listed. From previous use
of his programs, they tend to work on most of the windows platforms.

There was none listed on the page. But here is something for the FAQ
section:

All the software offered on www.mediachance.com is fully tested to work on

Win95/Win98/Win ME/Win2000/Windows XP.

As far as cpu, ram and so on, maybe you could write the author and ask
him?????.
