- OT? How to get Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter updates without installing WGA?
- Posted by Father Guido on July 24th, 2006
I'd rather not install WGA for many reasons, although I am a legit
registered XP home user. I'd like to get the latest junk filters, but
everything at M$ is now available to WGA users only.
Is there a source of Windows/Office updates outside of MS? Or does
anyone know of third party (i.e. freeware) filters/rules to separate
junk for legit emails?
Thanks,
Norm

This is a good site with some helpful information.

Hmm, if Office 2003 offered free junk updates and now doesn't due to WGA,
which is an entirely separate entity to Office, then that's a breach by
Microsoft of Office's License, surely? Take it up with your local Fair
Trading authority.
