- Planogram software ?
- Posted by John Fitzsimons on April 25th, 2008
I had someone send me a plan of where stands will be at a local
festival. She called it a planogram, a term I hadn't heard of before.
She used a publishing program BUT it got me wondering whether
there was specific software for doing floor plans like this. Apart
from the usual diagram programs.
Has anyone here come across such software ? Specifically for
showing where stands will be at a festival/expo/fair ?
Regards, John.

I haven't heard it used in that context.

"A planogram is a diagram of fixtures and products that illustrates how
and where retail products should be displayed, usually on a store shelf
in order to increase customer purchases."
My hunch is there isn't any such animal.

"Planograms are created with the help of a planograming software.
Worldwide only few producers of this kind of software exist (see the
link below) which may also be responsible for the hefty price tag of
this kind of software during past." (sic)
