Rain, cpu cooloer - c'est bon

Thanks, ACF, for telling me about Rain.

http://www.pricelessware.org/2004/PL....htm#CpuCooler

I've got a low-end notebook that gets very hot. When I used to run desktops,
I'd always bought big cases, and put in lots of fans. With a notebook, I
assumed that there was nothing one could do to change the situation. Since
the beginning, I had to keep the habit of turning off my notebook at least
once a day, sometimes more often, to let it cool down.

When I read in ACF about CPU coolers, it was a new concept for me. And now
I've got around to acting on it. Rain works great! What a difference! In
fact, it's now in my startup, as an absolute essential. So good it might
even turn my machine into a "true laptop," where no longer does that
placement scorch through one's jeans to cause third-degree burns....
This Rain now providing great cooling relief. Merci!
