Why am I a troll? How can I be a troll? I am downloading mandriva 2006 final
at this moment
However.. so that you linux people will know... LINSIPRE was the
distro that helped me do what I wanted. It had the easiest
network configuration with windows machines I have ever seen on linux
AND you can download the iso free from torrent, no need to pay for the
boxed edition. CNR is something you pay for, but you dont need it
if you want the basics.
For hardcore linux geeks linspire may seem like a joke, but
for people who want to get things done and know windows
its a gem. I only wanted a file server! A stable machine that will be on
24/7.
These few days, I had to learn to configure smb files, swat, webmin and how
to find the correct
versions all the distros I was trying..and still there were problems!
Hundrends of mysterious parameters for each one!
GIVE ME A BREAK. installed linspire from ONE cd, and set up
my shares in 5 mins!
I am a windows expert, and a linux amature-newbee but I still keep giving
linux
a chance by downloading and testing distros.
Linux programers are geeks. They have to start listening to the simple every
day users if
they want to market their products to the simple everyday users who just
want things
to work without having to lose 1/2 of their lives learing command codes!
You have to understand.. that the higher the technology, the simpler it is
for the user!
A computer of tomorrow will react to your thoughts, you wont even need a
mouse!

There are no computers tomorrow (not for "you" anyway). Only DRM
entertrainment centers! Sheesh, don't you know anything.

Why do you say this? I am using more OS's than you even know exist!
Entertainment centers? I have never use one nor will I ever do so.
You are kinda stupid. No offence...
