Thanks!!! e.t.

Hi Karen, nice tip - didn't know that one. It seems this only works
with some help files, including windows own, but not others - like the
one mentioned in this thread. I guess this feature depends on if the
author and/or his help compiler included and/or allowed for this
option, don't know.

All the best,

Bob Adkins <bobad@charter.net>:
A small tip on reading CHMs.

1. On any page in the CHM which you might have extra interest in, right-click.
2. Choose "Properties" from the pop-up context menu.
3. In the Properties box, select and copy the URL.
4. Paste that URL into Explorer's addressbar. "mk:@MSITStore:[...].htm"
5. Now you have access to "Save As," "Find in Page", etc.

The latest (smallest) one from
<http://windowsxp.homedns.org/xp/asp/twg/twg.asp>

(afaik both versions, the old and the new work the same when it comes
to not enabling right click menu with properties option on pages)

All the best,

Hi, Bjorn. I didn't know about that. The only issue in my experience had
been if you wanted pics in your SaveAs. There were two files mentioned in
this thread. Which one should I download? I'm curious to explore the
limitation.

Bjorn,

FWIW, the author of The Tweaking Experience help file has disabled the
right-click context menu and tried to protect the text from being
copied by adding a few attributes to the <body> tag on each page:

<BODY oncontextmenu="return false" onselectstart="return true"
ondragstart="return false">
