[cough] My computer has some 1,500 .exe files. Whatever the original
poster wants, I don't think it's that. Even if he only tried to create
shortcuts for all the .exe files in Program Files, he'd still be
picking up a lot of setup, uninstall and other exes that don't run
programs.

No dispute, but I think this is a situation of "be careful what you
wish because it might come true".
