- REQ: App to save and restore explorer task bar windows
- Posted by TygerTyger2010 on November 21st, 2006
Hi,
I wonder if anybody has seen an app which can save the state of the XP
desktop icons. Ideally for multiple groups. e.g. you might want to open
up a set of music folders, or a set of particular document folders, the
application would have saved these at a previous time and they could all
be opened at once. I particularly need this as Win XP explorer on my
system will on about 1 in every 4 bootups crash and lose the previously
saved window state before booting. I tend to have a LOT of folders open
at once and this is a hassle.
Cheers,
Tyger.

That is NOT a design feature if XP, so I suspect you need to "clean up"
your PC rather than add another app.
