Had 25 yrs of using the old noggin. Willing to relearn. Although I
wonder what Michaelangelo or Corbousier would do if given a computer.
Autodesk seems to be the most prominent, but would like to hear of
other's opinions of other systems out there, like maybe Sun's.

You'll have to make more sense, I don't have a clue what you're
talking about. Are you looking for CAD software?

A9CAD from A9Tech.com
AutoCAD compatible files, 2D only - commands limited to the basics.
Look for tutorials etc. which specifically handle the transition from
drawing board to CAD: Lines are only connected if you say so (by using
'snaps' - precision in a good CAD program is very high); drawings are
prepared full-scale eg 1:1, only scaled for printing ...
If A9CAD doesn't drive you up the wall then you are on your way :-)
