Transparent Icons

Hi

whenever I set any image as a wallpaper, I cannot get trasparent icons.
There is always that bacground colour around them. It looks awful.

Solution?

I don't use any of those programs (I use a no-longer-free PC World
utility), so I can't tell you how good they are.
