Truecrypt
Posted by Livewire on January 13th, 2007

I want an encryption system for a USB stick which creates a virtual disk on
it that I can then access on any computer. Truecrypt looked ideal, and
gets very good write-ups. But it needs the host computer to have
administrator privileges, which means I can't use it in internet cafes etc.
Is there a good alternative?

Have not tried this but did give it a look. It appears to require
installation of a device driver, something would probably be hard at an
Internet cafe. Also wouldn't that initial install require Administrator
privileges too?
