It's easy to miss, there's an 'other bulds'-link at the bottom of the
download page, but it's not that obvious.

What is the differences between the Standard Build and the Slim version? Is
the functionality the same?

Standard build is with optional Yahoo toolbar (which most people don't
want)
Basic without the optional yahoo toolbar and all language files
Slim is just with english language file
They all work the same

Thanks Dirk, I am running 1.34, which is about 1.34meg. I'll take the Slim
which sounds just right. (Sorry for the triple entries. I was having a
little trouble with my news reader, but it's OK now.)
Regards,
Dave C.

I think "not for distribution or mirroring" is quite funny too. See:

"CCleaner Slim (No Yahoo Toolbar, English) 1.39.502"
Size: 470 Kb
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/ccleaner.html
"Version 1.38.485"
"File Size 449 kb"
"CCleaner does not contain any adware or spyware."
That's also the "Slim" version.

Hmmm....I've never had a problem with them bundling that, as the
installer includes it on the page of "install options" which allows
you to decline the toolbar.
That seems to me responsible and acceptable installation behaviour;
YMMV of course.

I believe that anyone who would install a program like CCleaner that is
capable of permanently altering the registry, and capable of securely
deleting various types of files, "who is not attuned to customizing an
installation" will be able to damage their Windows installation with or
without the Yahoo" Toolbar installed. The type of user you describe
should be strongly advised to NOT use this program or others like it.
