Just updated it on my Vista laptop and it seems to offer a number of
improvements over v3.x. I'm still not willing to give it a full
endorsement because of bundleware issues (Google toolbar and the
in-house product ThreatFire, easily dealt with if you're cautious
during the installation process) and, at least to me, is a bit too
sketchy as far as documentation. It has online help rather than a
locally download file and some features aren't fully explained to my
satisfaction. (There is a forum, but it doesn't appear very active,
and I haven't decided whether I really want to register for email
updates.)

That applies to updating from V3.x as well. Stands to reason, though,
since the fw looks at a lot more things.

On balance, if you're already using 3.x, you'll really want the update
and you'll want to go into "Settings > Filtering" and select some of
the newer features. Just be prepared to interact with the program for
a while since it has to learn all over again.
