Have you compared this to SIW which afaik is the current benchmark
programs for doing this. That would be interesting.....

says so? If any product got that accolade then surely it would have
been AIDA (or later, Everest).
I find PC Wizard's speed and clarity has merit such that I usually
use PC Wizard eben thoughI have SIW, AIDA, FreshDiagnose, etc on my

Detailed informations about Processes, Startups, Explorer, IE Addons,
Uninstallers, Windows, Services, Drivers, Connections and Opened Files
Action History for monitoring processes activities
Making of Registry & Files snapshots for easy comparing of system changes.
Result of comparation is displayed in tree view and text list. Can be used
for analysation of product installers/uninstallers (like Total Uninstall)
Performance graphs for monitoring usage of system resources in time
Easy check of suspicious files via VirusTotal
Easy search details about file/process via online databases
Easy access to System Utilities
I use this with SIW...the two together are hard to beat.

I haven't seen this one before. First impressions:
Looks fairly comprehensive and puts a lot of features in one place. I
like the convenience of the snapshot feature, and I like that it's a
no-install .exe and has a portable version. Users will want to put it
in its own folder, however, rather than run it as a standalone because
it does create other files in the directory it runs from.
There are several things I don't like. It tries to phone home to
www2.skok.cz [217.11.249.219] on Port 80 with every start, and there
is no apparent way to disable it via preferences or (AFAICT) by
editing the .ini file. There is no help file, online or otherwise
except for the forum associated with the home page.
Some things that are neither plusses or minuses but that I mention for
awareness is that a full registry+files snapshot on my system took
about six minutes and created a snapshot file of nearly 50MB. (I have
about 250G in around 200k files onboard, many of which are audio and
video.) A registry-only snapshot took about 17 sec and a size of
about 29MB. As with certain other tools, this is not really something
I would recommend to novice users because the program assumes a fairly
experienced end user. Too many "opportunities" to screw things up and
no quick and easy way to reverse some actions from within the program.
On balance, for me it's a keeper, and I look at it as a backup to
several other established utilities I use on a regular basis, but I
will be cautious on recommending it to others without a disclaimer.
