My favorite is 7-Zip (Open source):

Still, if you don't like it or it doesn't meet your requeriments
there are many others zip/unzip apps listed in the Pricelessware:

I've used the following. I find it difficult to get too excited about
zipping/unzipping files, though. My main criteria are that the utility
does the job and isn't cluttered up with too many confusing or useless
options.
Expander -

Zip Wrangler -

- return address is altered slightly to reduce spam.

Thanks a bunch everyone.
Yes Danin I just want something that I can open downloaded zip files
etc.
I'll give them a try.

Enzip. I used it with Win98 and now with XP. Does everything I want
from a zip/unzip program.

Can you tell me how to extract just one file from a .7z archive using 7-
zip? Seems you have to extract every file in the archive rather than just
the one you need...

Just open the 7z file with its file manager (7zFM.exe for Win9x or
7zFMn.exe for Win NT), select the file(s) you want to extract and
press F5 or select 'File', 'Copy'.
Hope this helps

It does immensely. I haven't used it a lot, but I think 7-Zip has great
potential.
Thanks for the help!
