Working on AB but not IE or FF - can someone confirm?
Posted by Colonel Blip on July 15th, 2004

I am currently using FF .9.2, however I have run into a strange situation. I
went to eBay and did a search on "windows xp professional" w/o the quotes.
Both IE and FF will not load; the page gets into a constant reloading mode
cycle. I then opened AB and tried it, figuring it would have the same
problem since IE based - it worked perfectly!!

Could someone else confirm this that has 2 or 3 of these browsers?

Anyone have any thoughts why this might be?

Perhaps it is a cookie issue.

Since I didn't know if the cookies could be an issue, I chose "allow for

This is really strange. I have several Favorite searches and all of them
work. I can generally run one of them, enter a new search on the resulting
results page and have it run fine. However, if I use any other search page,
e.g. www.ebay.com, or my ebay page, or the refined search page I get the
strange behavior.

I've checked cookies and they are set fine.
