- x-face(s) where / how ?

Hello:
I'm looking for a new x-face for x-news. I already have the software to
convert images to x-faces but can't get a converted image to look good as
an x-face.
Does someone know of a site that has pics available for conversion to an x-
face?
All help appreciated. TIA!
