- YouRipper v.2.30 UPDATE (Freeware) - Download / Embed YouTube Videos
- Posted by robert@remlapsoftware.com on January 30th, 2007
We've all enjoyed the offerings on the video sharing websites such as
YouTube and MySpace. Unfortunately, none of these sites provide a
standardized method to download and save these videos to your own PC.
YouRipper is the only stand-alone application which offers users the
ability to easily download videos from these sites and save them as an
industry standard Flash Movie (*.flv).
For Webmasters, Bloggers and MySpace hosts, YouRipper can also be used
to generate the HTML or Javascript to Embed videos from YouTube etc
into their own pages, using a generic, fully customzable and feature
packed Video Player, instead of the ones provided by YouTube etc.
Users can even create Playlists of videos and in this way create their
own online TV station. The possibilities for entertainment, education
and information sharing are endless. With a whole of host of options
and features to choose from, the end-user can even place their own
logo in the bottom right-hand corner of the video player, just like
YouTube etc.
YouRipper includes an RSS Feed Reader, preloaded with feeds so that
you are only ever a click away from seeing what's new and what's hot.
Even when there is nothing worth watching, the integral ShoutCast
Radio Player within YouRipper will having you bopping and popping to
any of the thousands of Internet radio stations available.
YouRipper works with the following video sharing websites:
* YouTube
* Google Video
* MySpace
* Daily Motion
* Guba
* YouPorn (contains material some users may find offensive)
* PornoTube (as above)
YouRipper is 100% freeware and contains ...
- No Spyware
- No Adware
- No Malware
- No Registration

I have a friend who has just got ADSL broadband, and finds that he can't
save YouTube videos because they don't appear in his Temporary Internet
Files folder.
His ISP is British Telecom, and he is using 'BT Yahoo Browser'. Will
this be preventing the YouTube files from appearing? [I'm guessing that
he's got XP, and presumably Internet Explorer is in there somewhere.]
I note that BT Yahoo Browser is not on the list of browsers which
YouRipper works with. However, is it likely to work?
Ian.

Hi Ian,
Your friend should be able to use YouRipper to save YouTube vids etc.
I will happily include the BT Yahoo Browser all I need to know is the
program filename of the browser eg. iexplore.exe = Internet
Explorer After that, give me an hour or two and I'll have YouRipper
clinging to the titlebar of the BT Yahoo Browser
I hope this helps?
Best wishes
Robert
