- Posted by oktokie on December 5th, 2007
I've come across two HP/COMPAQ oem video cards and I am having hard
time identifying the cards.
Help me to find out which video cards these are.
Thx.

You could try decoding the product id string using the specs from here:

Try posting to a video group and please don't use HTML.
Anyway, this appears to be your first card:

HP Part Number 311507-001
Manufacturer NVIDIA
Description 8897 Ver 100 64MB AGP 8X CPQ/NVIDIA Quadro4 380 XGL
64MB * AGP 8X Graphics Card
It may help if you posted the text info on the card, eg model number,
barcode numbers, etc.
Anyway, it's a 64MB NVIDIA AGP card of some sort (8 x 64Mbit SDRAMs).

Right, then you could Google it for him instead of him doing it for himself.
Btw the res of the picture is such that you can read them yourself.
It's says its a model P71.
