- Intel RAID Controller SRCSAS18E extremly hot
- Posted by wbehrent on March 28th, 2007
The CPU-Unit on this RAID Controller becomes extremely hot (I guess
about 80 degrees Celsius) after a few minutes. (Even without any SAS/
SATA Drives attached!)
My question is if that is normal for that controller?.
Do I need to cool it or does the controller raise an alarm once it
gets to hot?.
