- Netfinity IDE cable clips
- Posted by Bob on May 5th, 2005
I have a curious problem.
Having decided to install an IDE drive in Netfinity 7100, I am unable to
disconnect the IDE cable at the backplane. The cable socket is held in
place by what seem to be clips on either side. No matter what I do (save
forcibly pulling it out) the cable does not budge.
Seeing everthing else in the computer does not need any tools, I think I am
missing something here. I am hoping there is an easy of doing this.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
