How big is your disk? If it's bigger than 137 GB you might have LBA incompatable hardware/software.

That's the beauty of SATA, no jumpers to mess with. You only have one drive, one cable. For your ATA drives, one has to be master, one has to be slave. Ken Hall wrote:
