I have an xSeries 205 server and a HighPoint rocketraid 454 card. I have
tried the card in pretty much all the PCI slots and still the sounder on the
card bleeps continuously when the server is powered on and the BIOS does not
get called to run the array setup.

I have found there is some "known" problem with this card and Via EPIA ITX
motherboards, but there are no details of problems with other boards or
chipsets.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

I am using this card to replace the LSI MegaRAID card currently in the
server which I believe to be faulty.

I am trying to do a server rebuild over this weekend, so at the moment my
plan is to go and get an adaptec 1200a card in the morning.

Advice would be most appreciated.
