Hi

I have had a WinTV-PVR 250 installed and running fine under Win XP Media
Centre media centre edition. I didn't use the Media centre to watch TV just
the WinTV2000 option. I recently received the latest update from Microsoft
and since then have not been able to use my WinTV2000. I get the following
message after I start the programme: hTV=0xclc800err=8 and the window closes
down.

I have also had no success in using the card through Media Centre, the scan
for TV signal fails to find anything, even though the system worked perfectly
until the new update. I have the WinTV-PVR 250 connected to a sky+ box on
using good ol coax.

Any ideas? Help.

Try reinstalling the Hauppauge driver and see if that helps.
