- Media Center + SP2
- Posted by laydeethunderpants on April 30th, 2006
I've upgraded - again (about the 6th time!!) - to SP2 this time determined
not to uninstall it because I can't find work arounds. I cannot play music
in Media Center - TV is fine, radio is fine, EPG working, etc. I get the
error message "To play music in Media Center, install Windows Media Player 9
or repair your current installation". I've got Media Player 10 installed,
but it won't work with Media Player 9 either! Has anyone got any ideas about
this, as it seems its the ONLY issue I have this time around! I've installed
all the manufacturers updates etc which I do on a regular basis anyway and
done EVERYTHING before trying the SP2 update this time. Thanks in advance
and hope someone has the answer!
