- Posted by JACK LM on February 16th, 2006
Have recently installed xp media centre but it said it required "Service Pack
2 disc" on installation. It was not in with the disks that I received. After
installing my drivers I am missing troubleshoot, help files, one of my hard
drives, internet explorer, and almost everything else, can't access the
internet through my broadband to update...Arrgh, what has happened...please
help me someone!

CD #1 is Windows XP Pro with SP2. CD #2 is the MCE add-ins.
Start with booting from CD #1, imputting a MCE CD Key will trigger the
request for CD #2. After it's finished with CD #2 it will ask for Windows
XP Service Pack 2... which is CD #1.
Sounds like you need to reformat and reinstall from scratch.
