- Re: EPG Error Submissions ignored by MS/Broadcasting Dataservices

Having started listing errors using the online tool in July 2005, and having
started this thread on 9 September 2005, I am really frustrated and
disappointed that it is now October and still not a single of one of the
requested fixes has happened.
Why on earth is it so difficult to list popular TV channels on what is
supposed to be the wonderful media experience that is MCE?!
Again, currently reported issues are (for the fifth time):
Telewest Digital London:
New channel 'E4 +1' has been on air for 2 months but still does not appear
(Channel # 145)
Living TV has moved channel numbers
Living TV +1 has moved channel numbers
New missing channels noticed when looking at the full channel listing:
abc1
Discovery Realtime
Please also note a new channel is about to launch and MCE customers will
expect it to be in the Guide for the launch night:
'more4'
Please can you offer some explanation for what on earth is going wrong?

PS: Please note Telewest London is listed 5 times on the Guide Issue Form
under 5 different names, so I have submitted the report 5 times.

And the list goes on...
1. UKTV G2+1 is missing from lineup
2. Channel 890 is for Telewest Info but the Guide Data says 'Welcome to
ntl'! NTL is a competing company to Telewest so I'm pretty sure Telewest
don't welcome you to NTL!
3. Discovery Realtime missing
4. You list 'Home & Leisure' and 'Discovery Health' but there is actually a
channel called 'Discovery Home and Health' so which is it you are showing
listings for there? Needs updating
5. UK Style+1 is listed twice at channels 266 and 290 - which is it?
6. I noticed Adult channel is shown but has no channel number associated
7. Jetix is not listed
8. ABC1 is not listed
Please advise.
(apologies for any repeated items)
