Sky Three is listed as Sky Travel here in Manchester.

For me there is no entry in the guide in MCE for Channel 108 - Sky 3.
Sky Travel is present as Channel 253 and the EPG data for that is
correct for Sky Travel. It does not contain data for Sky 3. There is
no sign of Channel 108, Sky 3 or its data anywhere in the MCE EPG.

P.S. I suppose I could try a Manchester post code but then my regional
listings for BBC and ITV would be incorrect so that's not a
particularly helpful solution. I had no idea that Sky 3 was a regional
channel so why have MS/BDS implemented a design/solution that permits
it to be left out of some regions? It's a pity MS/BDS can't get
something as simple as this sorted in the first place.

And in Stoke (ST7).
The last time I looked on a Freeview STB, Sky3 was also still listed
as Sky Travel there!

Sky Three is not a regional channel. It is just the incredibly complex &
unwieldy manner that the MCE EPG is implemented means that instead of a few
variations on the EPG there apparently 15000+ There is obviously a problem with
updating all the many variations.
I actually edited my registry & changed the headend number to 210001 which
corresponds to an Inverness Post Code & I now get Sky Three listings. Oddly I
lost 101 but then re-mapped the correct BBC1 East (W) from 982. 103 is Grampian
in but is near identical to ITV Anglia. The regional variations are really very
little & are normally opt outs at the same time for regional news.

Hey cool looks like that worked, only thing that may cause an issue is with
the listings for bbc1 and itv, there not local, but I don't think there that
different ?
Thanks

the system so that the 90% of channels common to everyone went into

I only take two mixes and none of the premium options yet they still
bombard me with all the listing for those irrelevant channels, plus
many others that I have no intention of ever watching, like religious,
gaming and shopping channels. Yet they don't give me many of the
channels that I can receive and do want to watch.
They have a very arse about face way of dealing with the variables of
channel data supply and end user demand. Why send me crap channels yet
withold the channels I do want? These people are either twisted or
just plain lazy, stupid or incompetent.

Nigel, I'm well aware of that feature and have made full use of it but
it annoys me that MS/BDS have succeeded in making available to me a
load of irrelevant and worthless channel data when they can't manage
to give me the data I do want.
I would not call Sky 3 a minority channel and the lack of diligence in
making the data for it available when they can support the betting and
gaming channels is extremely annoying. I can see a value in having Sky
3 in the guide as one might well want to record shows from it but why
would anyone want to record Price Drop TV or a phone-in game show? The
priorities in getting this data correct seem completely misguided to
me.
I have reported the problem with Sky 3 and several other channels
repeatedly and still nothing gets done to fix the problem.

You can edit the channels & map the correct regional BBC variation to 101
unfortunately there are no EPG entries in the Sky guide for the ITV regions. You
are right though there is little regional variation outside the names of the
regional news programmes.

I totally agree about the misguided (no pun intended:-) priorities here. The
fact that sizeable numbers of users are missing mainstream channels like Sky
Three & ITV 4 is ridiculous when there are listings for all sorts of Shopping
Channels & all the other worthless channels.
