THE BEST OF ABBOTT AND COSTELLO (VOLUME 3) (reviewed by Dennis Prince,
overall score 83/100):
"Some may think it's harsh to go after this well-loved and well-
accomplished two-man legendary team, but fans know that not all of their
pictures were bona fide hits. Sure, their mere presence and on-screen
chemistry is always fun to see -- but, sadly, these two over-achievers
were sometimes saddled with scripts that simply couldn't be saved."

BLINDNESS (reviewed by David Johnson, overall score 79/100):
"The characters in this movie tell a story. No, I don't mean that
metaphorically. They literally sit around and tell stories. Patrick
breaks in to the house and tells a story. The mother-in-law confronts
her daughter-in-law and tells a story. Dennis sits everyone down and
tells a story. To say Blindness is exposition-heavy is like saying Iowa
has a few ears of corn."

THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 92/100):
"Legend has it that Busey put together a band and actually toured up and
down the Left Coast, playing Buddy Holly songs, before the production
began. He convinced the director to let him perform the songs live in
the movie, rather than rely on overdubs. The result? Every performance
has a raw energy and nerve that you can only get from strapping on a
Fender and really playing."

CLIFFORD'S REALLY BIG MOVIE (reviewed by Lacey Worrell, overall
score 85/100):
"Entertainment aimed at children is often heavily didactic; it means
well, but it ends up hitting them over the head with moral lessons.
This film's approach, however, is so gentle that children will
instantly relate to the central conflict and manage to enjoy themselves
in the process."

DOUG STANHOPE: DEADBEAT HERO (reviewed by David Johnson, overall
score 88/100):
"Stanhope's routine is pretty much an amalgam of boundary-pushing, gosh-did-he-say-
that observations. I'm pretty sure the guy was drunk for the whole thing
-- and he even had a hilarious bit about that."

LOVE OBJECT (reviewed by Patrick Bromley, overall score 88/100):
"If director Parigi can work out a few kinks, he's going to make a real
name for himself in the horror genre. Who would want to miss that?"

NATIONAL LAMPOON LIVE NEW FACES (VOLUME 1) (reviewed by David Johnson,
overall score 85/100):
"For those of you have never watched an episode of Last Comic Standing,
and have never seen the stuff these comics are made of, I think you'll
be impressed with this disc. It really is quite funny, sporting only a
few speed-bumps."

THE PERFECT HUSBAND: THE LACI PETERSON STORY (reviewed by George Hatch,
overall score 90/100):
"The usual disclaimer at the end of the film states, 'Although the
preceding drama is based on actual events, certain composites and
representative characters have been created for dramatic purposes.' This
is one of the few times in which the liberties taken work in favor of
the film -- except for the main character."

TEMPLE OF JEHAN: ULTIMATE BELLYDANCE FITNESS WORKOUT (reviewed by Amanda
DeWees, overall score 83/100):
"This is a fun and challenging workout -- more challenging than it needs
to be, thanks to the minimalist cueing, but still a colorful, exotic,
and sexy way to get your blood moving and your muscles working."

YOU GOT SERVED: TAKE IT TO THE STREETS (reviewed by David Johnson,
overall score 85/100):
"It's quite possible you could learn to bust a move with this disc. Me,
I'd just bust a femur."
