- Good portable player?
- Posted by Jordan Lund on October 27th, 2004
I was thinking about getting a Portable Media Center for watching DVDs
on the morning and evening commute, but rather than rip a DVD and
transfer it to the device I thought I'd just get a portable player for
a fraction of the price.
Any reccomendations?

Check the ones at Costco or www.costco.com because they have low prices and a
better return policy than other stores in case something goes wrong with it.
Typically, however, if your player breaks it happens within the first thirty
days of use.

I bought a Panasonic at the inception of DVD and it has been stalwart.
