Netfucks, also known as Netflix is a ripoff. I can not think of one
good thing about them. I cancelled their crappy service and from now
on I go to a local rental place. Fuck Netfucks....

On the other hand, I have been a member of Netflix for years. wonderful
service, efficient, and easy.
I guess if you're too stupid to figure out how to operate a mailbox, then
Netflix is not for you.
See ya' later, loser...one less person competing for available discs.

I have to agree also. I'm about 4 hours away from there mailing site. I
order the 1st 3 movies say it's a Monday.
I wont get them till wed. Watch all of them on the same day. Mail comes at
10am So I have lots of time.
Put them in the mail Thursday, They get them on Sat, (So they say) The next
one's on my list are sent out on Monday again. At this rate I'm getting not
quite 12 a month. Have to allow for short months. But over a 3 month period
it will work out at 3 per week. A few times a month they would have to have
the movies sent out from other locations and that would also cause a delay.
In one month I got Disc's that were cracked at the hub and could not be
played. Never got any comp disc's to cover for the one's that were bad.
Other times, they would have the wrong disc in the sleeve. Again, No sorry,
we will make it right.
My local video store always has 95% of the movies in stock. And at 1.99 ea.,
3 for 5.00 It was a no brainier for me to get them local. The place is
approx. 3 blocks away from my house also. They also have a deal that if you
placed your order on there website, And it's not in stock that day you get
the next movie for free.
I've read that if the person renting movies has a fast turn-around Netflix
delay's the shipment to save a few on shipping. They also hope the user will
forget to return them quick so that they save again on the shipping costs.
The TV ad states back and forth shipping is about one day. I never saw that
happen and there only a 3 hour drive from here.
Some people have great luck with them and others don't. It happens. It
didn't work for me. But If it works for others then great.
Membership was 5.00 when they 1st opened. That gives you access to there web
site order site. Now there membership price is 7.50 and a lifetime price.
They have been open for over 2 yrs now and if your ever unhappy with there
service they will refund you the membership price without question.

Netflix has a nice easy to use feature concerning damged or lost in mail
disc's. You report the title showed up damaged and it gives you a cpl
option. Either they will send you a replacement copy immediatly even before
you mail the dmged one back if you wish or they will send you the next item
in Queue but its up to you. Beyond that what more do you think they should
do? Their not charging you a per title fee so they don't really need to
"comp" you if you get a bad disc, they simply replace it. Its only happened
to me 2x in around 5 yrs I think and they were always fast about a
replacement.

No one makes you rent from them......................

Anytime you get a bad disc it eats the time that you could have watched a
movie. Heck, they have to make sure when checking them in that there in the
correct sleeve. Take's a few more sec's to see if it's messed up. The less
movies you watch, the more they make.
Why wont they send you 4 the next time to cover that loss ? must be the
postage they would have to pay.

I got as bad disc and it cost me time. It took 2 weeks to get the
movie that arrived damaged in the mail. Here is where Netflix needs
better service. Perhaps they can prevent shipment damage better by
mailing the disc with a piece of cardboard. Their advertisement says
"receive DVDs in about one bushiness day." Well, I was notified on
Monday that my DVD will arrive on Friday--hardly the next day. They
need to change their advertisement here. But, in all, Netflix is a
good deal. Movie rental stores arrange their discs by category
instead of alphabetically, making it very difficult to find the movies
you want particularly if you want to rent a half dozen. With Netflix,
it's fast any easy to find what you want.
