In article <40f7de0e.903313@bart.spawar.mil>, me2@privacy.net says...
Kerry Computer Virus
Network administrators who first passed off the mysterious Kerry virus as a
hoax are now saying that it does infect some machines, but apparently spreads
slowly and becomes weaker over time. The virus attempts to attack machines
with an algorithm that switches both components of a computer operating
system’s binary code, 1’s and 0’s, in effect, fooling the internal logic by
committing to both sides of the code. Computer security experts said there was
no need to worry about the Kerry virus, as it is set to expire November 2,
2004. Some are even ignoring the threat altogether.
