I find that the firewall in IE6 prevents Data Miner from appearing on my
computer. I just tell it to block all 3d party cookies. Adaware gets rid
of it in the meantime.

must have meant the minimal XP firewall.
And I will keep on using EZ Trust and Zone Alarm......
And a special thank you to Rafters........I sent that 'cexx' website on
to Costa Rica......interesting one. I also sent her Sandi's Darnit
website.
Take care.....Heather

3d party cookies??
No, he probably means the 'block third party cookies' setting
in the IE6 security configuration utility. Not a "firewall" but
a baffle so he doesn't burn his 3-dimensional party cookies
(much tastier when they're golden brown) Mmmmm.
...not to be confused with those party brownies of the sixties.
I just ran SpyBot Search & Destroy for the first time, nice
program. But with all such programs you must be careful
what you do, or allow it to do.
You too.

Damn......I knew there was a reason why I minimised this post and my
memory fails me after 60 seconds.......grin. I meant to change it to
the cookie thing. Not the XP firewall. (a quiet 'duh')
Wouldn't know about those brownies.....I was a young wife and mother in
the 60's.......not into that hippie stuff (Bart)....chuckle.
I like Spybot better..........but the first time I ran it I was confused
as hell. Siljaline sorted me out.......yes, one must be careful as to
what you permit with it. That is why I don't recommend it to newbies.
There was a distinct lack of info when it first came out. We were
running both it and the old AdAware a year ago. Not now......I find
Spybot to be the superior one.
Have a good one.......going to be 30 degrees here tomorrow......lemme
see.....85 F??? Hot, anyway.

Hi Nicky........once in Spain on holiday in June we reached 40+ and I
don't want to know what it really was.......but it just sucks the life
out of you!!
Over 'ere, we do get well up into the 30's in July and August, but we
have the following......
1. Central air condition in the house (most houses have it)
2. Airconditioning in the cars
3. Airconditioning in office buildings, malls, theatres and whatever.
So we go from one to the other and don't feel the *blast furnace*
effects like you are feeling.
I was looking at the temps in the paper this morning and FWIW, you are
as hot, if not hotter than Delhi, India and Kingston,
Jamaica......yuck!!
I do have a spare bedroom........grin!! 72 degrees constantly.
Cheers.......Heather

Only a humid 87 here with scattered thunderstorms, air conditioned,
quite pleasant...that is until that tree came down and cut our power
off for seven hours. It's amazing how quickly that conditioned air
gets unconditioned.

Only wimps use Fahrenheit........
