....and I'll assume you mean anti-trojan and anti-virus.
Some of the better anti-virus programs do a good enough job
of detecting trojans to make running *both* unnecessary.
Some *high risk* users will not see much benefit from
either because they will not properly use them anyway.
I would suggest a good AV and an occasional AT scan
coupled with safe computing practices. But it is *possible*
to be completely safe with only the latter, if properly done.
(but I wouldn't even trust myself to be that thorough)
