Accessibility of Newsgroup Postings

I normally set the fonts in my display settings at 200% of
normal size so I can read the screen from a distance of
50cm (about 18").

With this setting, I can only see abouthalf the width of
the post message dialog box, and I can't see the Send or
Cancel buttons at all.

Te be able to post a message, I first have to set my
Display to small fonts which means I have to peer at the
screen from a distance of about 15cm (6"). This is very
frustating and also painful for the back of my RSI-damaged
neck.

I have two suggestions to fix this problem:

.. make the message dialog box adjustable in size; or

.. provide keystroke commands for the Send function - I
have tried several combinations with Alt, Shift and
Control keys but nothing seems to work.

Hoping yo can help me and no doubt many others with this
problem.

Shirley:

The problem is you are using the Web based front end !

Instead use a News Client such as Outlook Express and you can control everything !

Thanks for your reply but I'm not sure if it helps. You
see, I need large fonts for other applications and high
resolution for graphics work.

Could I use Microsoft Outlook as a News Client? I won't
use Outlook Express because it interferes with Eudora, but
I already use MS Outlook for its non-email features -
Calendar etc.

Can you give me a reference on how to set up and use a
News Client? I have searched the Microsoft site and found
nothing helpful.

Thank you

You can use Outlook Express, Netscape Communicator, Forte Agent, MicroPlanet Gravity or any
other NNTP (News) Client. However, MS outlook is NOT a News Client.
