Hi,
I am trying to add a domain user to the local admin
group on a users computer and get the following error
message: Prosessing of object "user name" Failed with the
following error - the specified domain does either not
exist or could not be contacted.

I am able to view the domian resources and actually pick
a domain user to add to the local computer admin account,
but then I get this error. I know I was able to do this at
one time. The reason I want to do this is to allow people
the log onto the domain to have admin right to there local
computer, so they can install programs ect...

I am running W2K with AD in native mode. CAn any one
help with why I can not do this. It doesn't seem to make
sense if I can see the domain users, and then it says the
domain does not exist???
