Hi,

I noticed that some web applets will be killed immediately after it is
launched. This behaves like the ads killer. Is there a way to disable the
killer or this is imposed by the nortel fire wall? Since I can see the
applet window pop-up before getting killed, I guess it is due to some
security software running on my PC.

Searched through all the programs on my PC (Win2000 Prof) and did not find
an obvious one which does the kill. I did not install any ad-killer
software. Only recently our company has applied some patches automatically
on my PC.
