i have a bizarro problem:

if i enable web content in folders, they'll sometimes
suddenly go blank and not display the folder contents.
concurrently, shortcuts to programs will not work and give
me some message about shortcuts only working for programs
that are "currently installed".

when this happens, i must restart for the shortcuts to
start working again.

help!
