I cannot download the Service Packs to Windows 2000
Professional. Even after previously downloading Service
Pack 3 in a timely fashion last spring, my Version is
listed as Service Pack 1. The dialog box says that
download is complete, then, after about 2 hours, indicates
that installation is complete, but never completes the
process.

I've tried to download SP 2 seperately, but it hangs
also. No help from the Dell support group in India.

In addition, I get a message that svchost.exe has
generated errors and it crashes.

Please help.
