In our environment, we have a Windows 2000 Small business server as well as
a regular Windows 2000 server that we use to provide Terminal Services
support.

Yesterday, we received a new HP 3330 MFP which I installed on our WIndows
2000 SBS server (it's right beside my desk) - set up as shared. There is
only three people using this particular printer.

No problem - all is well there. Because one of the users in my office uses
terminal services, this printer also needs to be setup on the regualr
Windows 2000 server so she can pick it to print to.

Here's where the problems began (this has happened on other occasions as
well)

I go to the add printers area of the WIndows 2000 server, select network
printer and browse for it. I double click the other server thinking that the
shared printer I just configured should show up right???? WRONG!! Nothing
shows up (even though there is a little "+" sign beside the other server
name sharing the printer.)

This has happened before on this server when I've tried to browse for other
shared printers on other machines. Sometimes they show up - sometimes they
don't. I do not know why this is.

Does anyopne have any ideas as to what I could check/configure to make these
shared printers show up?

If I do this on my XP machine, the shared printer shows up no problem - same
on my workmates WIn98 machine - it's just this other WIn2K server....

If someone's logged into TS, can they then browse/select the printer?

Is this a network printer, or is it directly attached/shared?

The printer is not a networked printer - it is attached via parallel
interface to the other Win2K SBS server and is set up as shared.
